The Sprint Factory, will be staging yet another of its signature events to wrap up the very exciting Penn Relays weekend. Come Saturday April 30, after all the races have been run, victories savored, and congratulations given; Penn fans and those seeking to savor a taste of Philadelphia’s cosmopolitan culture will converge on The LUXE Lounge for another in a series of exclusive events by the Sprint Factory family.
This year, the Sprint Factory team has decided to open the event to the public as part of its outreach and support for Team Jamaica Bickle. Headlining the Team Jamaica Bickle endorsed event will be the distinguished Captain Collin Hines of Fame FM Jamaica.
“The Sprint Factory family is excited to partner with a venerable institution such as Team Jamaica Bickle and give back to a land we all love so much,” said Cham T. Williams, a Sprint Factory Founding Member. “We hope this is the start of a long and successful relationship. This year we’re pleased to open our
signature, members-only event to the entire Caribbean contingent for the Penn Relay weekend.”
Team Jamaica Bickle Founder Irwine Clare is thrilled with the offer of support for the Jamaican athletes.
“What Sprint Factory is bringing to the table is tremendous,” Clare said. “Their offer to donate part proceeds to Team Jamaica Bickle on behalf of our athletes should be commended. We are happy to endorse this quality event that all our fans and supporters can enjoy. The occasion is not to be missed” Clare said.
Hines is a veteran of the modern-day “mashup” format melding classic Reggae hits, Dancehall riddims, Hip Hop and Pop. His selections run the gamut and reflect his international experience touring the world’s major entertainment markets. Collin’s vast and well-respected musical knowledge makes him the ideal “Party Master” for this event.
