TEMPO pulls up and brings you the long awaited ‘Pull Up Selecta,’ a new one-hour show debuting on Saturday, June 3rd at 9 P.M. EST and hosted by the one and only Jabba himself.
Each week, Jabba and a guest DJ will keep the pulse throbbing with only the hippest artists, rockin’ beats, and most dance worthy rhythms in Hip Hop, Reggae, and Dancehall music, all while kicking it in the latest, trendiest Caribbean duds to hit the streets.
In one hour, Jabba will give you Underground Riddims – music videos by up-and-coming local island artists that have caught our host’s ear – as well as Big Six Flexa, a segment highlighting the best of the newest DJs, sound systems, and artists.
But Jabba also lets you get a new taste of old favorites with 45s when he spins dubplates – exclusive remixes or unreleased recordings – of top hits. In Forward Forward Pull Up Dat, Jabba will introduce you to the latest rhythms and dance moves to hit the clubs, and in Jabba Say Dat, our host will handpick five of the hottest new tracks to play for you. Once a month you can look forward to Reasonings, when sound systems will drop by to battle it out live on set.
