Headline artists for Rock de Tempo will include : Shaggy, Rayvon, Maxi Priest, Shurwayne Winchester & Traffik, Tessane Chin, Etana, Pyour Passion, Pressure and Cool Sessions Brass. Of course, the Tempo family will be on hand and in the mix, including Tempo’s VJ’s and hosts Empress Jeanille, your Island Girl Anushca, Hector, Jah Bami…..all alongside the USVI’s very own, Mr. Tempo himself, Frederick Morton. It all takes place at Lionel Roberts Stadium, beginning 6 pm, sharp. Tickets go on sale Monday April 23rd for a special limited-time only discounted price of $35.00 until Saturday May 12th after which ticket prices will be $40.00.
As a special promotion for Tempo’s “One Love” pro-social campaign: Badness Outta Style, Tempo is also proud to feature a performance by the Rising Stars Youth Steel Orchestra a pan group that targets at risk youth from ages 10-18 as part of St. Thomas’s anti-violence initiative. Tempo will also continue its campaign by partnering with USVI artists to create additional on-air PSA’s promoting its position that there is no place in the Caribbean for violence……Badness Outta Style!
