Ezine Roots has a very interesting article on Oprah’s favorable ratings falling after she endorsed Obama. Does transcending race mean you forget your race. There are some very good points in the article even though I think the writer could elaborate more on why most white people are so uncomfortable with talking about “race”. Politically correctness is apart of it and also the “What can I do to help for the sins of my forefathers” syndrome (I will discuss that at another time).

PS: Could Tiger Woods be the next person to fall from “transcending race”.
