The Jamaica Consumer Electronics Show Returns!!, August 21 & 22, 2010 , New Kingston, Jamaica

The Digicel Jamaica Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the greatest show of its kind in the Caribbean returns to the Jamaican corporate area, fuelled by a new thrust, its new owners, Creative Media & Events (CME) on August 21 & 22, 2010 at the Wyndham Hotel, formerly known as Hilton, located in New Kingston.

Anchored in its 10th anniversary year by Leighton Davis and Garth Walker, CME’s Managing Director and Chairman respectively; two gentlemen who have become movers and shakers in their own right, by revolutionizing business ethics from the crude, to the suave and methodical approach. They have developed a national reputation of achieving the unthinkable.

“I am humbled and blessed to have the opportunity to take the helm of such a powerful brand. My passion for innovation falls in line with what this expo represents and I have already had sleepless nights thinking about how to improve on the Caribbean’s largest show of its kind,” says Leighton Davis.

His business partner, Garth Walker, Chairman, displayed a look of thanksgiving and gratitude while saying, “I am excited about where CME is poised to take this event. The Digicel Jamaica Consumer Electronics Show is an exposition where exhibitors that either manufacture or trade in consumer products will be able to put on display their wide range of product offering to the Jamaican public.CES serves as a platform to promote awareness of the consumer technology industry in Jamaica, the growth and use of technology in our day to day lives and the growth of technological inventions and creations in Jamaica through awareness.

The theme for this year is “A PASSION FOR INNOVATION”. What this means is that the show will be futuristic, i.e., it will provide a preview of what is to come in the technological industry.
