This day in Jamaican History – On March 25th, 2006 Jamaica won gold in the men’s and women’s 4×100-meter relay Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The men’s team was lead by Asafa Powell and the women’s team by Sherri-Ann Brooks. Asafa and Sherri-Ann both won individual titles in the 100m that year. http://youtu.be/_XrY35AfYpU
