Special ticket offer to fans of Veronica Campbell

Just $25 for Jamaican cheering section at Millrose Games

NEW YORK (Jan.16) โ€“ When Veronica Campbell, the 2004 triple Olympic medalist, competes at 60 meters at the Millrose Games, fans wanting to sit in a special Jamaican cheering section can purchase tickets at a $5 discount, organizers announced today.

To receive the discount and join the special section, use the Promotional Code JAMAICA when ordering tickets from Ticketmaster.com or visiting the Madison Square Box office, and you will be seated with other fans of Veronica Campbell in sections 341, 342 and 343 for $25. Tickets in other sections range from $90 to $15, and are also available. The 99th annual Millrose Games is set for Feb. 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m., and the Jamaican superstar promises to be a highlight of the event.

Campbell, 23, was the #1 female track-and-field athlete at the 2004 Olympics, winning two gold medals (200 meters, 4×100-meter relay) and a bronze (100 meters) on her way to being named 2004 Sportswoman of the Year in Jamaica. The winning time of 22.05 in her 200m victory in Athens was the fastest in the world for 2004, and no woman has run faster in the last five years. Campbell is also the 2005 World Championships silver medalist at 100m. At the Millrose Games, she will face American Lauryn Williams in an Olympic and World Championship rematch.

With just a year to go before its centennial running, the 99th annual Millrose Games, the oldest continuing sporting event at Madison Square Garden, is set for Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster by phone (212-307-7171); via internet at www.ticketmaster.com; at a Ticketmaster outlet near you; or by visiting the Madison Square Garden ticket office.
