In the spirit of giving back, popular Latin Jazz percussionist, Tito Puente, Jr. has donated his services to appear at Caribefest, scheduled for Sunday, September 2 at Lakeshore Park in Miramar.
Puente will bring his special blend of modern Latin dance music, with a musical fusion containing elements of House and merengue music. He will also pull on his father’s legacy as the “Mambo King” and perform some of his father’s classic hits dating back from the 1940s.
“To have an icon like Tito Puente, Jr. appear on Caribefest is such an honor” stated Alex Davis, director of Caribefest Inc., co-presenter of the event with the City of Miramar. “We are even more delighted that he chose to donate his services to the residents of Miramar and we are truly grateful to have him grace our stage.”
