The 22nd edition of SOCCERFEST will be held on Sunday July 22, 2007 at the G.Ross Lord Park, 4777 Dufferin Street in Toronto (Dufferin north of Finch Ave).
Defending champions Rusea’s heads a group of sixteen teams which will challenge for the Bell/Zadie Memorial Trophy. The others are: Calabar, Clarendon College, Cornwall College, Edwin Allen, Exelsior, Ferncourt, Holmwood, Jamaica College, Kingston College, Kingston Technical, Meadowbrook, Morant Bay, Munro/Hampton, St. Elizabeth Tech., and Titchfield.

Merritone music will fill the air, as the legendary – Winston Blake will make a specific trip from Jamaica to provide special music.
Play is schedule to get under way at 9.15a.m.
An animated soccer rivalry between neighboring Jamaican High Schools, St. George’s College and Kingston College that was transferred to Toronto; triggered the birth of this one day annual alumni tournament 22 years ago.
Soccerfest will hold it’s launch on Saturday July 14, 8.p.m. at the Spice Caribbean Café, 74 Hymus Road, Scarborough -(Warden south of Eglinton). This event will stage the “team draw” and confirm tournament schedule.
Soccerfest is organized by The Alliance of Jamaican Alumni Associations (Toronto). Soccerfest is a family day.The aim of Soccerfest is to galvanize cooperation among alumni associations of Jamaican educational institutions in the G.T.A.
It is supported by member associations and many community partners including Air Jamaica, Jamaica National Building Society, Senvia Money Services and Victoria Mutual Building Society .
