Tracey voted most outstanding athlete

PHILADELPHIA, USA — Edwin Allen High’s Ristananna Tracey was yesterday named the Penn Relays Most outstanding female high schools relay athlete after two outstanding legs on the winning 4x800m team and the 4x400m team which was third on Friday.

Tracey, who also won the award in 2009 when she led Edwin Allen to two Championships of Americas titles, ran the fastest ever split in the 4x800m at Penn Relays — 2 minutes 03.17 seconds , better than the 2:03.2 run by former Vere Technical standout Inez Turner in 1991 when they set the record of 8 minutes 37.71 seconds, then a World Junior record.  Read more >>
