KINGSTON, JAMAICA – September 16, 2010 – Travelers can fall in love with Jamaica all over again, courtesy of exciting packages to kick off the fall season. Visitors looking for a warm escape from the chilly temperatures can head south and take advantage of Jamaica’s specially designed packages, ranging from golf getaways to catamaran adventures and soothing spa retreats.

New Opening

GoldenEye Hotel & Resort, nestled in the village of Oracabessa on Jamaica’s North Coast, is set to open November 12, 2010. Guests will receive special introductory rates starting at US$536 per night. Travel is valid from November 12, 2010 – April 30, 2011. www.GoldenEye.com 


It’s Single Parent Fun (SPF) Months at Beaches Resorts. The resorts make it easy for single parents to plan a family fun trip with their kids now until October 31, 2010. Guests who book a three-night minimum stay by October 28, 2010, will enjoy specially designed bonding programs including a Single Parent Meet & Greet, sandcastle building, a bingo bonanza, a parent-and-child tennis lesson, Island Style Tie & Dye classes, and other activities. Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in Montego Bay is offering 60 percent off published rates when guests book by December 22 for travel through December 23, 2010. Rates include room accommodations, all meals and snacks, non-motorized water sports, resort activities and entertainment. There are no blackout dates or minimum length of stay, and all room categories are available, with deluxe and suites subject to availability. 



Spa Retreats

Moms-to-be can escape to Breezes Resorts to enjoy the 150-minute Blue Mahoe Maternity Package. The package includes a 50-minute prenatal massage specifically designed to reduce lower back and hip pain during second and third trimesters; a 50-minute facial using traditional European techniques to clean, tone and exfoliate the skin, followed by a relaxing anti-stress massage; and a 50-minute spa pedicure.
