Two-day NACAC meet begins today

The NACAC Combined Events Championships answers the gun today at the new Usain Bolt Track at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI).

The two-day event, which ends tomorrow, will see athletes from host Jamaica, Canada, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, USA, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Martinique, Dominican Republic, Nigeria and Cuba participating.

Jamaica’s World Championship decathlon silver medallist Maurice Smith and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Claston Bernard, along with Janieve Russell, Gleneive Grange and Salcia Slack in the heptathlon, will carry the nation’s flag. Read more>>
