Two Time Juno Award Nominee Belinda Brady Unveils Latest Single And Music Video For Party Track “Olé, Olé”

Toronto based singer Belinda Brady will release her latest single and music video for “Olé, Olé” September 26 2013 with a release party and live performance at AlleyCatz Restaurant Jazz Bar, 2409 Yonge St., Toronto, Ontario.

This is the second single off Belinda’s latest full length electro pop album “Time of My Life” available now on iTunes.

“Olé, Olé” really is all about the joy of bringing people together. The song is about uniting people from all different countries and cultures and just celebrating life,” says Belinda.

Belinda says her inspiration for the song actually came from sports. “The PanAM games are just two years away so the excitement is building in the city. And there is also a lot of buzz over Brazil because of the 2014 FIFA World Cup being held there and the upcoming Summer Olympics. The video for “Olé, Olé” makes reference to those events because for me there’s nothing like a huge sporting event that brings people together with passion,” says Belinda. “There is a special kind of pride and unity in the face of politics or anything else that happens during something like the Olympics. That’s why the song is all about raising your flag and showing your love.”

Belinda is no stranger to music. She’s the daughter of Carl Brady; one of the original members of Jamaican band Byron Lee and the Dragonaires; which played a crucial role in bringing Caribbean music to the world. “I literally grew up around a record factory,” says Belinda. “I would never get tired of observing the process of making vinyl; it was magical to me. When I would see my parents perform on stage (my mom was a dancer with the band), I was just like any other fan! Except I knew that it was my destiny to be on stage just like them.”

On September 26 Belinda will be bringing the old and the new; giving fans performances of their favourite tracks they’ve known her for; such as “Wishing You Were Here” and “Found the One”.

Belinda’s latest album “Time Of My Life” is an Electro Pop fusion with sexy reggae highlights. The album is being distributed online through TuneCore and is currently for sale on iTunes. “Take Me In Your Arms” is the first single off the album and has been officially remixed by Grammy Award nominated producers KlubJumpers. Chip Fu is a featured performer and writer on the album “Time of My Life” which is entirely produced by Marcus Kane.
