UFJ’s First Annual Home Buying Seminar

UNITED FOR JAMAICA (UFJ) is a non-profit organization run by a collective of dedicated and progressive individuals looking to do practical projects that impact our community in a positive manner.

The goal of UFJ is to foster relationships between committed individuals and interest groups who will join in efforts to better health, education and economic conditions for the citizens of Jamaica, the Caribbean Diaspora and the communities in which we live.

Over the past year we have been a part of many community projects, including:

1.Playeing a pivotal role in Hurricane Ivan relief drive by helping to collect over six thousand dollars along with donating goods to Jamaica, Haiti and Guyana.

2. Coordinating the February 2005 medical forum focused on winning the fight against HIV, hypertension and diabetes.

3. Collecting and shipping 1,200 pounds of books to Jamaica schools and libraries in Trelawny, Jonestown, St Ann, and Clarendon as part of our April 2005 book drive.

UFJ has joined forces with several other organizations such as:
