Gratitude for prayers that led to the Miracle – Iris Johnson
Iris Johnson, Jason Walker’s grandmother, who is 93 years of age, survived a major surgery to remove cancer from her colon. The operation went smoothly and she is already at out of UWI hospital and at home recovering. She cannot walk yet but she is out of pain and looks like she is on the way to recovery, of course she is under observation for at that age there is a fear of her reaction to the surgery, but so far everything is fine. Thank you all for the prayers.

Plummer Family disaster Community response
As you have all heard by now the Plummer family suffered a terrible tragedy, losing home and family members to fire a couple days before CHRISTmas, there was an appeal of support and help sent out to the Jamaican community in Atlanta and it has been reported that there was a huge turn out at the funeral. There has also been a strong outpouring of love shown to the family. We at United For Jamaica appreciate and are humbled by those who extended such compassion in these challenging times. Even with all this they still need assistance to get back on their feet, so if you wish to contribute anything, even a note of encouragement here is their information:
