jamarchI Grade Records and Sound VIzion Records are pleased to announce the release of the music video for Ras Batch’s song, “Together”. The music video, filmed and edited by Aqua Media, premiered on YouTube on Wednesday, April 24.
“Together” is the first single off of Ras Batch’s highly acclaimed 2012 release, Know Thyself, on I Grade Records. The song, a heartfelt anthem of unity, has been one of the most played songs on St. Croix airwaves over the past six months. With its infectious melodies and upbeat roots instrumentation, “Together” is a song that has truly taken St. Croix by storm.
The music video for “Together” was produced, filmed and edited by Aqua Media – a full-service multi-media company based in Christiansted, St. Croix. The HD music video was shot at various scenic locations around St. Croix and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands including Mahogany Road, Creque Dam, Cane Bay, Coki Point and others. The video also features cameo appearances by David Hines of Steel Pulse, Pressure Buss Pipe, Niyorah, Bogle Stevens and many other VI artists and musicians.
I Grade Records is the Virgin Islands’ most active and prolific music label, with 25 album releases in the past ten years. I Grade Records, founded by Laurent “Tippy” Alfred, collaborated with Sound VIzion Records on producing and releasing Ras Batch’s seventh album, Know Thyself. Based on the success of their collaboration, I Grade and Ras Batch are currently working on the follow-up album slated for a Fall 2013 release.
