Dear Friend of the Caribbean:
You are invited to attend the Annual US/Caribbean Legislative Forum on Tuesday, June 23, 2005 on Capitol Hill, 8:00 am to 2:30 p.m. in Rayburn House Office Building.
This is not just any Forum, it is both an educational event and an important venue for the exchange of views about policies and legislation that impact on the Caribbean American community, and on the Caribbean region. This event will bring together policy makers, academics, community advocates and others interested in a dialogue on these issues.
Partner organizations include to date: Caribbean Immigrants Service; and the South Florida Caribbean Diaspora Task Force. (in formation.)
We hope your schedule will permit you to attend. A Draft Agenda and Registration Form are attached. If you have any specific questions regarding the Forum or to register, please contact Angela Atkins at (301) 490-8915 or Email: [email protected]
Best Wishes.
