LOCATION: First Global Bank, Kingston
Description: Providing routine user support and problem analysis and resolution for users on the various software applications; Assisting in the preparation of testing documentation – test strategy, test plan, test matrix and test scripts ; Preparation/conditioning of test environments to facilitate accurate testing scenarios; Participation in Change Management Processes through testing activities and user-administration; Interacting with application vendors to resolve issues; Developing report specifications and creating simple queries and reports for end-users; To provide IT support to all departments in First Global Bank Limited and First Global Financial Services Limited in relation to the main application systems.
Qualifications: A first degree in Information Technology or Business; Knowledge and/or experience in banking operations; Knowledge and/or experience in back office procedures; Knowledge of major banking and investment applications; Adequate knowledge of AML policies; Formal training and / or experience in a project management environment that includes the phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle; Experience and / or training in formal testing methodology; Competency in the use of Microsoft Office products; Ability to effectively interact with individuals of varying levels of experience and expertise; Ability to cope with varying workloads; Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity while under time constraints; A high level of customer-centricity; A high level of initiative and flexibility Ability to work effectively as part of a team; Must be willing to work outside of normal working hours
