Kingston, Jamaica :– The 2008 STYLE WEEK JAMAICA was launched at Jamaica Trade and Invest on Wednesday, May 13 and saw a barrage of media personalities, mingling with international models and designers. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 23 – Sunday, May 25. However, there has been a venue change that is to be noted.

The Menswear Collections of B Michael and Martin Miller among others will be showcased in fine style at the Mona’s Visitors Lodge on Friday, May 23, even though the event was previously announced to be held at Vale Royal. Also, on Saturday, May 24 – The International Mecca of Style will be hosted with the backdrop prestige and powerful of Jamaica House. Knutsford Boulevard will be the place to be when FashionBlock Kingston 2008 comes to life on Sunday, May 25.

Fashionistas will be treated to a vast array of activities over the three days. Designer seminars, fashion summits, a Buyer’s Lounge, VIP cocktail receptions, multiple after parties, are just some of the events that will compliment the main events at this year’s STYLE WEEK. However, among the most elite and highly anticipated activities taking place this year, is the “strictly-enforced” All-White Brunch slated to occur at Strawberry Hill on Sunday, May 25.

Sunday, May 25 will end phenomenally, with the internationally renowned and rated FASHIONBLOCK, STYLE WEEK’s premiere event.
