Vincent Hosang, OD President / CEO Of Royal Caribbean Bakery/Caribbean Food Delights Will Headline JAMCCAR’s Monthly Meeting, April 13, 2012

The Jamaican Civic and Cultural Association of Rockland, Inc. (JAMCCAR) is proud to announce that Mr. Vincent Hosang, President/CEO of Royal Caribbean Bakery/ Caribbean Food Delights will be the speaker at its next monthly meeting: Friday, April 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.; Spring Valley Youth Bureau, Louis Kurtz Civic Center, 9 North Main Street, Spring Valley, NY. JAMCCAR’s annual membership drive will continue with prizes for both new members and renewals. Tickets will be available for JAMCCAR’s upcoming Mother’s Day luncheon and Steel Band concert. The evening will end with networking, fellowship and refreshments hosted by the Hospitality committee.

Jamaican-born Vincent Hosang will share his immigrant experience and his inspirational story of the founding and growth of his companies from a small retail store in the Bronx, NY more than 30 years ago to companies serving the retail and wholesale market nationwide, and the military nationally and internationally. Equally important is his continued giving back to institutions and organizations in the U.S. and in Jamaica through his companies and more recently the Vincent Hosang Family Foundation. Of local interest, Caribbean Food Delights, headquartered in Tappan, Rockland County, NY, produces a variety of frozen Jamaican patties and other cuisine from a 100,000 sq. ft. plant there, the largest Jamaican frozen food plant in the U.S. A plant in Mt. Vernon, NY produces bread, buns and pastries.

JAMCCAR, Inc. is a non-profit, community organization with a mission of fostering good relations with Jamaican-Americans and friends in the metropolitan area, with the purpose of promoting the civic, economic, and cultural aspects of the Jamaican, Caribbean, and Pan-African cultures.
