This year, organizers of the highly-anticipated event are going all out to ensure that VIP guests enjoy the festival in the lap of luxury, from the moment they enter the park until they drag themselves away at the end of the event.
VIP guests to the event — the largest Caribbean food festival in the United States — will have an exclusive entrance into Markham Park along with a private parking area inside the venue. The plush and comfortable VIP area will offer seating away from the crowds, so guests can enjoy the festivities in fine style and comfort. Everything this year will be a 10 and the VIP offerings is no different.
According to Richard Lue, one of the event organizers, “This is a great way to experience the event. After you go [throughout the park] and browse around, you have a comfortable space to come back to. This is the best VIP deal in town! You get 12 hours of access — between food and the bar — and all VIPs will get an exclusive Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival 10th anniversary gift bag.”
VIP guests can feast on unlimited tapas-style Caribbean fare including an array of jerk delicacies from 12 noon to 10 p.m. and an open bar serving beer, wine, rum, vodka, mixed cocktails and juices from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., along with host and waiter service.
Even more for the VVIP
As if the offerings of the VIP Vibe package aren’t enough, event organizers are making the 10th anniversary extra special by offering a VVIP reserved section within the VIP area for up to 10 persons for $1000 — 10 percent less than the regular VIP cost of $110 per person (pre-sold). According to Lue, a company, social club or group can reserve a section complete with a personal table attendant for 10 persons — so they can enjoy personalized service at its finest. Each VVIP table will also get two bottles of liquor of their choice, an opportunity to showcase their brand and to include corporate giveaways in the VIP gift bags.
VIPs and VVIPs will also have the best seats in the house, right in front of the main stage where they be up close and personal and can catch sizzling performances from
singing sensation Sanchez, legends such as Pluto and Ken Booth, along with the versatil
e and iconic Byron Lee’s Dragonaires and so many other featured acts.
Additionally, VIPs and VVIPs will have a chance to win a weekend (2 nights) for two at the Rondel Village in Negril, Jamaica. The winner will get to watch the best sunset in the world from the hotel or anywhere else, since that lucky person will also have a rental car for the two days compliments of Hertz, Jamaica.
