Caribbean Association China Appeal – Volunteers Needed For Outreach Program At The Migrant School In China – April 18, 2009

As you are already aware, one of the CAC’s major charity outreach program is volunteering to teach English to the Migrant kids at Chang Lin Primary School.  As promised, our next trip to the school has been scheduled for this month, Saturday, April 18. The school is a bit far from the city center in the Pudong district so we usually meet at about 11pm to get there on time to set up. We  then spend time with the kids from 13:00-15:00pm .
 
It is usually a fun time in which we divide the kids into small groups, eg. 5 children and volunteers pair up to teach them English and include little facts about the Caribbean in the program. It is very flexible teaching program and we provide you with guidelines and materials to use, therefore not very stressful.
 
Afterwards, each group of kids would give a performance, presenting  what they have learnt.  We supply gift bags to each Child at the end of the program.
 
We would love to have your full support so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to join the team.  we need to arrange a bus so it is imperitive to know the numbers early.
