The role of the Team Captain is to:
 

• Recruit potential walkers for the JANC Walkathon.
• Inform potential walkers about the purpose of the Walkathon.
• Communicate team and individual walker sponsorship goals.
• Register walkers and supply them with the Registration and Sponsorship forms.
• Function as an information conduit between the Walkathon Committee and the walkers in his/her team.
• Encourage each walker to meet his/her sponsorship goal.
• Follow-up with walkers to ensure that sponsorship proceeds are submitted one week before the walkathon.
