First Ever Web Broadcast From A Resort In The Caribbean Live On The Web

The Irie Team Dreamy Riley, Ron Burke and Gary Harris journeyed to Jamaica to do a premier broadcast on the web of Sandals Royal Caribbean.  Air Jamaica and Sandals sponsored this event in order to promote tourism to Jamaica. With no help from the Tourist Board the team was successful in getting the job done with viewers logging in from Chile, Germany, Mexico, London, Iraq, Spain, Australia and many more countries including the USA and Jamaica. Broadcast was done over a three day period with interviews of the guests, management and staff. Among the management was the CEO of the Sandals Group Adam Stewart who expressed his gratitude for the first ever broadcast on the web of this caliber. He also thanked us for taking this initiative in promoting tourism to Jamaica.

The Irie Team will continue to support this venture, as the president of the JHTA, Mr. Wayne Cummings expressed his interest in doing this on a continuous basis. The Irie Team was treated ‘Royally’ at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay by the staff and especially their PR co-coordinator Susan Pitter and Nathelie Taylor along with the General Manager  Iain McCormick and Hotel Manager Rick Burrows. The guests expressed their gratitude to the resort for the great service they received and all said they would return more often.
