Jamaican Born Wesley Frater Receives Proclamation From Miami-Dade County Office Of Mayor And Board Of County Commissioners
Miami Dade County takes great pride in honoring individuals and initiatives, whose various accomplishments have contributed greatly to the enhancement and betterment of our community, thus they have made a lasting difference in our society; Wesley Frater founded Tournament of Champions, INC in 1992, with a mission to educate and prepare high school student-athletes for their transition to college and the collegiate experience through educational and social seminars prior to elite athletic events.
Committed to investing in our youth, Mr. Frater founded various sporting which exemplifies his steadfast dedication towards providing youngsters with sporting events that can showcase their talents for college scholarships. It is fitting and proper that official acknowledgement be given to Mr. Frater for positively rendering indelible effects towards the betterment of our society. Be it resolved, that I Carlos Alvarez, Mayor of Miami Dade County, Chairman Bruno A.
