Whisky Rocks Showdown Competition closes Friday, October 11 at 4:15 p.m. EST. Don’t miss this unforgettable opportunity to open for Theory of a Deadman (theoryofadeadman.com) November 7 at London Music Hall, 185 Queens Avenue.
To enter, bands/musicians can upload their original music demo to Whisky Rocks Showdown Competition at whiskyrocks.com.
The finalists with the most votes will be announced at whiskyrocks.com on or around October 30 at 4:15 p.m. EDT. They will face off on stage November 7 at the Whisky Rocks Showdown Concert, where a panel of judges and Theory of a Deadman will select and announce one grand prize winner of a $5,000 gift card for musical instruments and equipment for Long & McQuade (long-mcquade.com).
If you’re interested in attending the event, tickets are still available. For only $30, attendees will see the finalists battle it out for the grand prize, taste a variety of Canadian whiskies and rock out to a full closing set by Theory of a Deadman.
Tickets can be purchased online at londonmusichall.com/events/ in person at the London Music Hall Box Office, 185 Queens Avenue, or at the door. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Dixon Hall, a United Way member agency, and its youth programs, which include opportunities to attend music school and music camps across Ontario, with participation of youths from London-based service organizations.
