NEARLY three years after Jamaica’s record-breaking exploits at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and numerous promises made that a document would soon be tabled, some major players in the local sporting industry are still asking the question: Where is the National Sports Policy?
Shortly after Jamaica’s 11-medal winning haul at the Olympic Games, Minister of Sport Olivia Grange said a National Sport Policy would be developed to exploit the country’s sporting capital and cash in on its success in the sporting arena. Read more>>
