Will A Jamaican Be The Next Miss Or Mr. United Nations? The Prestigious World Finals Event Is Coming To Miami On July 7th 2012

The purpose of the United Nations Pageants is to provide men & women the opportunity to come together regardless of their background and to build relationships with those who are working attentively to become a positive impact in their communities.

The annual United Nation Pageant’s primary intention is to identify and showcase the world’s best tourism ambassadors. Those who have the personalities and the talents best suited to promote their respective countries and to foster international friendships and understanding with cultural harmony.  

The pageant has been named one of the most influential international events to promote healing among nations around the world, bringing together representatives of a wide range of communities and cultures. Nearly 100 delegates from over 80 countries around the world will be competing for the following titles:

Miss United Nations

Mrs. United Nations

Miss Teen United Nations

Mr. United Nations

Mr. Teen United Nations

The hopeful Mr. and Miss United Nations will be judged on: sportswear, fashion wear, evening gown and of course, the interview; which will demonstrate their knowledge of social issues and current events.

The United Nations Pageant World Finals will be held at Miccosukee Resort and Gaming, 500 SW 177 Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33194. The pageant event will take place from July 5th to the 8th; however the Coronation Gala will be held Saturday, July 7th 2012 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

We are an organization dedicated to facilitating cooperation among nations, world peace and promoting development. The relationships that will be established during this event among the contestants will allow them to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultural, social and religious makeup of all the ethnic backgrounds of the countries which make up the United Nations. We feel extremely fortunate to be in South Florida for the premier of the 2012 Edition of The United Nations Pageants World Finals” said Leon Williams, president of UNP. He continued, “we can’t imagine a single destination more representative of the vast cultures and peoples of the United Nations than South Florida, we could not have selected a more appropriate place for our World Finals”.

Apart from a strong emphasis on goodwill, tourism and destination promotions, the pageant is also supporting environmental protection via strategized programs.
