Escape January’s Chill At Port Authority During “Jamaica Winter Rescue” In New York, January 6, 2010

WHAT: Dream of escaping chilly January winds and curing the winter blahs?  The Jamaica Winter Rescue program can help with special weekly events at The Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York. Join the Jamaica Tourist Board to learn about the hottest winter offerings in Jamaica.

Jamaica Winter Rescue ceiling banners, giant floor mats, and spectaculars will provide a colorful tropical environment, and commuters will learn how to plan their perfect getaway to the warm isle of Jamaica.

Weekly events will take place on January 13 and 20.

WHO: Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett will welcome commuters and greet media.

Jamaica Tourist Board Sales Representatives on-site on to provide details on Jamaica’s latest news, and hot winter offerings.

Devon Harris of the original Jamaica Bobsleigh Team to talk about Jamaica Winter Olympics.

WWPR-FM will be on-site to hand out promotional items. Commuters can also enter to win a trip to Jamaica.
