HOST: Future Services International Ltd

WHEN: Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 9am – 4pm

WHERE: Courtleigh Auditorium, New Kingston

WHY: The number of women murdered since the start of the year has increased by an alarming 30%. Police officials have warned the Jamaicans to ensure they take responsibility for their personal safety. Against this background, Future Services International Limited will host a series of Personal Security and Self Defense Workshops for women. Criminals are becoming more and more brazen and as such it is not enough to rely on our security forces to keep us protected 24 hours a day. The workshops will therefore, equip women with the skills needed to protect themselves from an attacker who may attempt to rape, rob or abduct her. Many believe that what women learn in this workshop could save their lives.
