There are some things Miami doesn’t lack: beach, sun, pretty girls, and up-and-coming rappers. The 305 is definitely the place to be for the new kids on the block. Bizerk, is that new kid on the block. Bizerk started making music in middle school with another rapper, Lunch Money. 10 years later and Bizerk is still wreaking musical mayhem with his partner-in-crime.
One thing Bizerk never knew about his buddy: Lunch Money’s father is none other than reggae legend Ian Lewis from Inner Circle and one of the owners of world-renowned recording studio Circle House! But don’t think it was a free ride to success. “Even with all the access and knowledge that might bring to the table,” Bizerk explains, “it’s actually harder ’cause you need to prove yourself and work your ass off to let folks know that you’re serious and got talent!”
Bizerk has reached international success with many different singles with world-renowned artists such as Shaggy, Inner Circle, Flo Rida, and Slightly Stoopid!
2014 sees Bizerk poised for greatness and the sun is rising on his success. His track “Young Wild and Free” with Inner Circle and Flo Rida peaked at over 2 million views on YouTube. In Addition to his internet presence, his reggae single “Like to Party” with Shaggy charted #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts for a whopping 2 weeks!
This Year Bizerk will be releasing a Multi Track EP featuring many of the tracks that have propelled him to stardom on the international ranks, and are soon to bring him to domestic accolades. This EP will be representation of Bizerk’s roots, a mix of his Urban and Reggae Heritage. A cross between the two worlds that shape the artist that is Bizerk, from his family upbringing in reggae, his ties to Inner Circle and his gritty North Miamian sound that adds that edge to his music.
