The recent rains in Jamaica is certainly going to bring hundreds of new potholes that will go unfixed. I heard a story on NPR where a Germany village is auctioning it’s road repair to the public. For approximately $70 US you can get your name tagged on a pothole.  I think it is an interesting idea and great way to get something done. Will it work everywhere is the big question. Would you be willing to pay for a Jamaican pothole with your name tagged in it?
