Xoom Corporation, the Internet-based global money transfer company, announced today new service through a partnership with Capital and Credit Remittance Limited (Capital and Credit) in Jamaica. The service through Capital and Credit, effective today, provides the beneficiaries of Xoom.com customers with more locations for receiving money in Jamaica, and faster access to funds deposited to NCB and Scotiabank accounts.
The new service expands the Xoom.com cash pickup network to include over 70 Capital and Credit agent locations islandwide, and increases the speed of bank deposit service to a few hours to selected banks.
This launch supports the Xoom.com comprehensive corporate initiative to provide immigrant communities an alternative money transfer option that is fast, easy, convenient and low in price. Customers send money by visiting the Xoom.com website, www.xoom.com.
The Xoom.com online money transfer service, created in 2001, allows customers to send money to 45 countries around the world, including Jamaica, from any Internet-enabled computer using a credit card or checking account to fund the transaction. When paying with a checking account, the cost to send any amount to Jamaica is $7.99, up to $2,999.
