What: At risk youths edutainment skill training starts Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10:00am. Reggae revitalization, at risk youths edutainment skill training, respect for elders, the role of Reggae in Tourism, and the vibrancy of Jamaican music and sports
Mission: The RAS ASTOR BLACK INTERACTIVE MUSIC & ARTS LEARNING INSTITUTE asking dedicated and positive independent artists, producers, disc jockeys and others in the Edutainment industry to give some time to at risk youths in Jamaica to achieve their dreams. This can be done through a variety of information and services they can provide. Monies generated from live BlackBerry sponsor concerts “Reggae in the Sun” at the Trelawny Stadium allow the at risk youths to earn while they learn by re-investments in the Institute as the aim is to construct a professional recording and video facility to further aid the at risk youths to earn.

Reggae Walk of Fame and Museum Ltd. will produce “Operation Education” in partnership with The RAS ASTOR BLACK INTERACTIVE MUSIC & ARTS LEARNING INSTITUTE and R.I.M. BlackBerry, where post high school and college students will be educated in all areas of Arts “TUITION FREE”

Programme: Each day, students will be edutaining visitors looking for our Reggae celebrations and performances by our Reggae Walk of Fame Inductees and other popular regional musicians.
The Reggae Walk of Fame “Reggae in the Sun” at the Trelawny Stadium is offering tremendous opportunities for corporate citizens to promote & market their company to a captive audience from around the world visiting Jamaica for “Reggae in the Sun” Musical Experience
The RAS ASTOR BLACK INTERACTIVE MUSIC & ARTS LEARNING INSTITUTE will highlight the importance of edutainment, teamwork, punctuality and discipline. The interactive presentation will also be attended by members of the local public and private sectors. Specially invited artistes will perform and the event will be repeated every day with additional guest artistes.
Each week, at the Trelawny Stadium, at risk youth will salute a Reggae Ambassador, recognizing their importance and pay tribute to their amazing work that has contributed to the Island of Jamaica as we know it now.
Daily, Reggae Walk of Fame & Museum Ltd., will present “NEVER TOO OLD TO REGGAE” the very best in local, regional and international Reggae entertainment at the “Reggae in the Sun – RIM-BlackBerry Concert. Reggae in the Sun events will bring light to the power of Jamaica, attracting the very best of everything. “The importance of being proud of our culture and creating a top notch tourism experience that promotes our extraordinary virtues and our unique attributes will be underscored.”
